CME45B Truck Drill

This economical and efficient drill is mounted on a versatile all terrain 4×4 truck. With high ground clearance, an excellent turning radius, great driver visibility, and low gearing. Add a set of tire chains to the wheels and now you have access to sites where track drills were the only option prior. Drilling power is provided by a deck-mounted diesel engine. When the derrick is raised 2 cable hoists are made available to trip rod, augers, and downhole tooling. An Automatic drop hammer for SPT sampling and ample storage space for tooling or samples. Being mounted to a crew cab truck allows interior space for temperature sensitive equipment. The CME-45B will drill holes up to 13 inches (33 cm) in diameter using conventional or hollow-stem augers. Maximum depths are 60ft/18m for 4-1/4” Hollow stem, 80ft/24m for 6” solid stem flight auger, and 150 to 200ft [45-60m] for rotary tooling. And with it’s fixed vertical feed frame, the CME-45B is ideal for environmental/ geotechnical or coring work.
